• New flatshare in a 3 bedroom flat starting this weekend 31st Aug/1st Sept.
• Looking for a considerate like minded person to complete our friendly flatshare.
We have a spacious double room in a tower block in the Isle of Dogs, Canary Wharf. It is on the 16th floor, with a balcony that has eastside views over Greenwich and the Canary Wharf Skyscrapers. You can also see the O2 Dome.
The map doesn't show the location very accurately but if you use google map and type in Knighthead Point, it will give you a better idea.
Canary Wharf station or South Quay DLR is an 8-10 minute walk. A bus stop for the D7, D3, 135, N50 is a minutes walk away. There is also a park across the road and an off license, convenience store and pub next to the building.
The room is very clean and spacious and has a stand alone double wardrobe, two chests of draws, comfy double bed and a good sized table for a desk. To give an idea of size you could fit two double beds and still have space for your wardrobe and drawers – It really is a decent sized room.
The landlord is also currently refurbishing the bathroom (bath and shower) and is also buying a new dining suite for the flat. The flat is very well kept and clean with laminate flooring throughout. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.
The living room leads onto the balcony and has a soft comfy mock leather lounge suite. It is a decent and large size and will also hold the new dining suite.
The kitchen is a good size – not too small and not huge, with microwave, kettle, gas cooker and two fridges etc.
Our original third person was unable to commit so we need someone to take their place ASAP. Move in date is ideally this weekend, but is flexible from now and the weekend of the 6th of September – negotiable.
You will be sharing with two fun-loving, friendly and considerate girls. We are both doing our PhD's so we will not be much of a crazy party-house, but we do like the idea of having dinner guests to admire our view.
Bond is £500 and rent is £460pcm plus expenses. As it is a new flatshare and we haven't moved in yet we are unsure of the bills at the moment. It is expected to be around £50-70pcm depending on what we agree on. We are hoping to get an internet, phone and sky package. If you are a student aswell, it will be a student flat and you will not need to pay council tax.
Please email your contact number and a little about yourself and I will get back to you ASAP. I am in France until the end of this coming weekend so email is best.
